The winners of the three biggest tournaments of the year, IEM Katowice, PGL Major Antwerp, and IEM Cologne, FaZe arrive to IEM Rio with the goal of securing their second Major of the year, claiming the $1,000,000 Intel Grand Slam, and putting their name in the history books with one of the most dominant calendar years in CS:GO history.
But will Finn "karrigan" Andersen and co. manage to accomplish what they have set out to do? Shaky form after the break has dissuaded some that don't see FaZe as clear favorites despite their brilliant year, with Natus Vincere, Cloud9, Vitality, and Liquid among the names thrown in the hat as potential Major winners.
